To produce a promotional brochure using existing logo and imagery. The brochure would be used to attract new clients and to showcase work the company had already done.

Background:

Radek Skonieczek spent his formative years working in his father’s timber and joinery factory where he developed a passion for woodworking and painting. Shortly after moving to the UK he began undertaking contract work as a painter and decorator for a large office design and commercial interiors specialist based in Cambridge. He continued to gain experience in all aspects of painting and decorating as well as small and large renovations and repairs.

As his reputation grew he began to receive an increasing number of private requests for his services and following some time, with demand for his services so high, he was forced to devote all of his time and energy to private work and at this point Quest painting and decorating was established; based entirely upon the recommendations of satisfied customers.

Target Audience:

Home owners within Cambridge and the surrounding areas looking to renovate or decorate there property.
Aged 30+

Tone of Voice:

Professional and Informative.

 -

For this brief I knew that the focus would be on the images sent to me because this is what the client is trying to promote. So I focused on creating layouts that would be image based with only an essential piece of text.

Existing Logo:

Using the existing colour scheme I started to design the brochure in indesign. Breaking the content down into different categories so it was organised.

Final Brochure:

After I had finished designing the brochure I made a mock up and sent it to the client for feedback. The client approved the final design and decided that the brochure would be printed on a gloss stock. But at this time the client hasn't decided when he wants them to be printed.
